Karl-Anthony Towns wasn’t named to any of the three All-NBA teams and he apparently didn’t think his omission was justified.
So we’re gonna pretend KAT wasn’t suppose to be on any All-NBA?🤔
— Devin Booker (@DevinBook) May 18, 2017
Moments after All-NBA teams were announced Thursday, Towns retweeted Suns guard Devin Booker who said “we’re gonna pretend KAT wasn’t suppose to be on any All-NBA?” Booker and Towns were teammates at Kentucky.
Towns could only make an All-NBA team as a center, meaning there was only room for three players at his position. Anthony Davis made the first team while Rudy Gobert and DeAndre Jordan were named to the second and third teams. Jordan got four more votes than Towns.
KAT then tweeted a sleeping/snoring emoji. Then he hit Snapchat hard with a message saying “Being disrespected is nothing new to me” while adding an emoji of a fuel pump, which clearly means the All-NBA snub is fueling him to be even better next season.
