Ostmark Lutheran Church Fall Bazaar
The Ostmark Lutheran Church Women of the ELCA have their Fall Bazaar on Saturday, October 7th from 8:30 a.m.-to-1 p.m. There will be morning coffee, noon lunch, a bake sale, farmers market, and crafts, canned goods and quilts for sale.
Gerry Moen says the Bazaar has been held every fall for nearly 50 years, and Ostmark Church is located at 32721 680th Avenue – south of Watkins and northeast of Litchfield. She says if you are on Highway 24, turn north past Turck’s Trees and you’ll find the church.
Moen says the noon lunch includes BBQs, and homemade vegetable beef soup which you can buy by the quart and take home. She says the Bazaar will have lots of quilts for sale.
Moen says she makes rhubarb/strawberry, peach and strawberry jam for the Ostmark Fall Bazaar, and there will be salsa, dill pickles, pickled green beans and more; and the farmers market will include squash and pumpkins. She says proceeds from the event will benefit the local food shelves, Meeker Area Ministries, and other mission projects and will help to send kids to Bible camp.
