Meeker County Board Meeting
The Meeker County Board of Commissioners has approved of a resolution authorizing the issuance, sale and details for payment for general obligation capital improvement plan bonds. The $3,650,000 will be paid off over 20-years and will help finance the remodeling project at the Family Services Building, the Court House and the Law Enforcement Center.
Administrator Andrew Letson says 6 bids were opened on Monday and the interest rate was a little higher than expected. He says the 6 bids were all very close to one another. Robert W. Baird & Co., Inc. had the low bid at 4.3742%. Chuck Upcraft from Public Financial Management says it was a good bid in today’s market. He says the County will receive the money on November 7th.
The Meeker County Board of Commissioners has set a public hearing for December 7th at 9 a.m. to discuss proposed changes to the fee schedule for 2024. The Board has accepted a donation of $3500 from Towmaster for the Sheriff’s Office drone program.
