Children’s programming at the Litchfield Public Library has resumed in the new year. The programs are free and you can get more information at the front desk of the Litchfield Public Library.
Toddler Time is held every Wednesday morning at 10:15 for a half hour and children must be accompanied by a caregiver. It’s for children from birth to age 2, but older siblings are welcome.
Beginner Book Club is held the third Thursday of each month at 3 p.m. for children in grades one-through-three. The Brickheads – a Lego-building club – is held each Thursday evening at 6:30 for anyone ages 4-to-14.
Preschool story hour is held Friday mornings at 10 o’clock for children ages 3-to-5. Maker Space is held on the second Monday of each month at 3:30 for young people ages 12 and up. They listen to music and make various projects.
A story time is held on the second Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. There’s also programming for teens and tweens on the second and fifth Saturdays of each month.
