The Litchfield Chamber of Commerce Business Showcase is coming up on Saturday, May 6th from 8:30-to-11:30 a.m. at the Litchfield Civic Arena. The day actually starts with a Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast at 8 a.m.

Chamber Events & Communications Manager Marla Thissen says the theme for this year’s Showcase is “Made in Meeker” and there will be an emphasis on technology. She says there will be an incentive for people to visit as many of the 50 booths as possible as they will be given a “passport” to have stamped at each booth for an opportunity to win door prizes.

Thissen says the Showcase this year will include information about the results of the Make it Litchfield initiative, and the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter will have animals there. She says the Showcase is a great way to see what’s available in Litchfield and to see what our businesses have to offer.

Dennis Gartner from Litchfield Building Center says the Showcase is a great opportunity for local business to reach lots of people. He says the technology emphasis will be interesting this year, as technology has changed a great deal over the years in his business.
